I have just done my fast tracking this very moment and I missed my computer eagerly bad.
Although I broke the fast quite a lot, still I felt really harsh. At the beginning of the fast, I turned all the notifications off on my cell phone, including every social site and even Messages. After all, there are several main needs which cannot be replaced for me: time, multitasking notebook, music, and digital personal trainer. I have experienced a perfect example of a combination and importance of digital multi-media today. I went to the gym and a time alarm was needed before, and I need music on my way and during the workout. The digital training application was certainly needed and irreplaceable as well. Going to the supermarket after working out was a part of daily routine, too, the shopping lists and reminders on the digital notebook were definitely important since I’m quite oblivious, so I take notes of everything.
Each function I mentioned seems replaceable with different devices and tools, but cell phone combines the functions and media altogether and convenient to reach: I can forget to do anything but take my cell phone.
